SINOSCOOP De Partij luistert niet naar zichzelf

China heeft twee economieën. De ene bloeit: massale fabricage en export van groene energieopwekkers en hightech zoals EV's, batterijen en robots. De andere kwakkelt: de groei loopt terug, de bouw is een puinhoop, werk wordt schaars, het loon lager, de schuld stratosferisch, mensen kopen minder en haken steeds meer af. Al sinds 2013 roept de Partij dat binnenlandse consumptie de economische motor moet worden. Het is nog altijd bij roepen gebleven.

DEZE SITE gaat over mijn activiteiten en over China: evenementen, boeken en het laatste nieuws (hiernaast chronologisch, hier thematisch). De m.i. belangrijkste artikelen zijn gemarkeerd met ***. / Het manuscript van mijn laatste boek, Tijd van illusies, moest ik vanwege de omvang inkorten. Daardoor zijn bijna alle voetnoten en enkele sub-hoofdstukken gesneuveld. Maar ze zijn niet begraven: klik hier. 

DIENSTEN Ik geef lezingen, gastcolleges, workshops en trainingen, en schrijf policypapers, artikelen en boeken. Via de Schrijverscentrale ben ik te boeken voor optredens in scholen, boekhandels en bibliotheken.
